88日間の長旅を終え、次は海外の友人へ日本文化と未亡人の近況報告です。勿論美味しいものは外せません!1年間は続ける決意で。

2016.Jun.27-July 3 My favorite song

●Jun. 27(Mon.)I'm happy today because I got this CD;I ordered it on Amazon last Saturday. when I went to Malaysia, I listened to one of Yuna's songs repeatedly on YouTube. That song's title is Crush(featuring America singer Usher). Yuna is a Malaysian singer, but she's in America. Please listen to 'Crush' on YouTube.

●Jun.28(Tue.)Today a little girl visited my house;she is three years old. I pick her up from kindergarten, and then she stayed for two and a half hours at my house. She ate some potato chips and jelly, and after that she played with toy cars. she likes cars because she has an elder brother.

Her mother came and picked her up and she gave me these marshmallows.

●Jun.29(Wed.)This is a Chinese restaurant that sells gyoza(Japanese dumpling). My husband brought me here when we first got married. I was really surprise-it's not very clean, and it's rather small, but the food was delicious. It's been renovated now, though.

Sometimes I buy takeout dumplings from this shop. I reheat them again so I can enjoy piping-hot gyoza at home. It's great with ice-cold beer.

●Jun.30(Thu.) I went for a yoga lesson today. It's my third time this month. I can go every day except Friday(Friday is their off day). If I go for yoga class every day, it's more worth it. The monthly fee is ¥13,000, with unlimited classes. If you go once, it's ¥13,000. But if you go 20 times, for example, it becomes much cheaper: only ¥650 per class! So, I have to go more.

●July 1(Fri.) I packed up a wooden horse and sent it to Hokkaido as a birthday gift for my friend's grandchild. My friend's nickname is Kiki;we are high school mates. So I've known her daughter(Kana) since she was a baby. Kana went to University in Australia and studied there for 4 years. I visited Australia with Kiki for a week, and a few years later I went to Bali to attend her wedding ceremony.

It was great in Bali, and I enjoyed myself a lot. By the way, Kana had a son last July.

●July 3(Sun.) I went to Kamakura. There was a memorial service for my father-in-law's 37th anniversary and my mother-in-law's 27th anniversary. My relatives gathered for the Buddhist memorial service. I prepared some gifts for them to bring home. Preparing gifts for other people makes me happy.

I bought 10 bottles of coffee at Kurogi.

I bought 7 boxes of macarons from Pierre Herme Paris at Mitsukoshi department store.

There are the presents-a bottle of coffee(cafe au lait) and a box of macarons.

It's a beautiful and hot day today.

After the memorial service, we went to a Japanese restaurant,en(円).
